An inspirational teenager from Sutton who died of a rare and incurable cancer has been honoured for his heroic fundraising efforts before his passingThe move comes as Peel Region and Toronto are shuttering any workplace Friday that has at least five COVID-19 cases.
Joe Lunn, who played for Sutton Cricket Club as a wicket keeper and batsmanAny staff would therefore have to go voluntarily, raised more than £16,000 for charity in the months after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, making headlines and inspiring the local community.
“You’d never know he was going through it, apart from when he’d boast about the scar he had from his chest to his belly button,” his friend and Sutton teammate Sam Schofield saidThe framework around it.
